Let It All Out!

Sometimes, your emotions don’t always present themselves at opportune times. It can be really annoying to burst out crying in public places. Although it is good to let your emotions happen when they happen, do not try to hold them inside. Bursting out, crying, is your bodies way of releasing pent up energy. When we are upset, the emotions build until they finally let go.

If you can go to a space and just let it out when it’s convenient for your, you will have less of a chance of it bursting out when innapropriate. Other ways to let that energy out is exercise. There needs to be some kind of physical outlet for this energy. Storing it in your body is a recipe for disaster or rather as dis-ease. That energy needs to be let out one way or another.

You could try writing a letter, that will help your mind not spin in circles. Yelling into a pillow when you are angry, or watching a sad movie if you feel you need a cry. These are ways of releasing that energy when it’s convinient for you. Going for a walk or doing some boxing at the gym, while imagining the person who upset you. This helps you to release the energy and in a way that doesn’t negatively impact the person at who the emotions are directed.

Moral to the story….DO NOT TELL YOURSELF NOT TO CRY… that is a physical reaction to the emotions you are feeling. After you have let out that energy, then try to understand where it came from and how you can better address it.

Go For What You Want

I guess the important thing in life is to go for what you want. That’s what I’ve been told anyways. The only problem is, that doesn’t always seem to be the easiest route. If other things such as bills and responsibilities didn’t get in the way, I’m sure it would be a piece of cake.

So where do we go from here? I guess we try to piece it in a little at a time. We try to fit it into our normal routine, but that doesn’t always seem to pan out. I keep trying to tell myself, everything is exactly the way it should be, but sometimes I have a hard time believing that. Yet somehow things always do seem to work out in the end. And when I look at my past I can see that everything has taken the optimum route. But when you are in the middle of the struggle, it’s not always clear.

I guess we should try to enjoy and just be even when it doesn’t seem to go our way. No matter how difficult that seems to be.
