Boring Activity
If you are not tired don’t try to force yourself to sleep, instead get up and “do something boring” then head back to bed. Do not do anything that will excite you. Try to do something that is quiet and relaxes you.
Reading a book
Watching a movie, try a drama or a tv show that you are not really interested in
Knitting or Crochet
Listen to a taped story
If these activities don’t work for you, you can create your own “bedtime” activity.
