Enjoying some type of activity or something pleasurable before bedtime to help you unwind and get your mind off the day’s responsibilities and nagging concerns. One idea is sex. I know that to a lot of women these days, sex is usually the last thing on their mind at bedtime. However, this could be one of things that could help you get a good night sleep.
It’s no secret that sex releases stress. During intercourse hormones and endorphins are released into the body, which help relieve stress and leave a feeling of content. Even though sex is stimulating, the positive effects is has on sleep far outweight the energetic activity.
Another positive effect is that sex can help take your mind off stressful topics and other things that have been running your mind ragged.
