Hot Bath or Shower


Taking a relaxing hot shower or bath before bed relaxes tense muscles. This helps your body relieve the stress from everyday life. Try to put the kids to bed before you take it. Or, ask your husband or wife to keep the children out, as well as themselves. This is your relaxing time, free from distraction.


If you like to use fragrances, try using scented body soaps, lotions or oils for a naturally calming effect. Turn off the lights and use some candles, this may also help you feel relaxed and wind down.
