Talk To People


Try talking to people who were successful in changing the same habit as you are interested in. Talk to friends, family or co-workers who have attempted, either successfully or unsuccessfully. There may be something to learn from both situations. Find out what they did wrong and what they did right. Try joining a forum, or chat room on the topic.


Speaking with others who were successful can be an enourmous boost of confidence. Seeing others and talking with them about their experiences are invaluable. Don’t be discouraged if you run into a lot of people who were unsuccessfull. There are reasons, they didn’t obtain their goal, try to learn from them.
