This chakra is related to emotions and sexuality. It allows us to connect to others through feelings, desire, sensation and movement. It is the sexual center for women. This chakra brings fluidity, grace, depth of feeling and intuition. It also helps us with the ability to accept change. This chakras energy is influenced by how and whether emotions were expressed or repressed during our childhood. We often tell children to stop crying. They are crying because their body needs to release energy. If they supress this and other emotions all of their lives, it will begin to close their sacral chakra. This often makes it difficult for them to related to others and express their true feelings.

When this chakra is open, the person is often friendly, empathetic, intuitive, sense of humour, radiate warmth, concerned for others, and compassionate.

A person with an over-active Sacral Chakra  is often very manipulative, overindulgent, view others as sex objects, emotionally explosive and usually caught up in illusions.
