Location
The throat chakra is located at the bottom of the neck.
Attributes
The Throat Chakra is the center for communication. You will have a desire to talk about what you are experiencing causing some friends to fall away, but your true friends will always be there. You will begin to attract others who are following similar paths. This chakra is also the center for creativity. When you are expressing yourself through art, song, crafts, or even your own blog, you are working with your Throat Chakra.

With a closed or under-active Throat Chakra, you will feel scared, timid, quiet, inconsistent, unreliable, weak, manipulative, afraid of sex, conflict with your religion
When this chakra is open, you will feel contented, centered, sense of timing, good speaker, artistic, able to meditate and to live in the present.
If this chakra is over-active, you may be arrogant, self-righteous, talk too much, sexual energy-macho, prefers partners who can be dominated.
