Balance the Throat Chakra

Yoga Poses
Moving with sound, letting sound move the body, releasing through sound
Breath with sound, turning head side to side
Bridge pose (Setu Bandhasana)

Use Your Senses
This chakra’s sense is hearing/sound. You can sing, make note sounds with your voice. Listening to music, chants, notes, etc will help to open this chakra.
Clothing
This chakra’s colors are light blue or turquoise. Try wearing something on your upper torso with these colors. Jewelry is also a great way to help this chakra.
Meditation
Using Mudras sound, and focus you can help to open and balance the Throat chakra. You should be sitting in an upright position with your weight on your root chakra.
Sound: HAM, chant this several times during each breath, and do it for about 10 breaths
Mudra: Cross your fingers on the inside of your hands, without the thumbs. Let the thumbs touch at the tops, and pull them slightly up.
Focus: Concentrate on the Throat chakra at the base of the throat.
Stones
Using crystals and stones is a great way to balance chakras. The stones for this chakra are turquoise, chrysocolla, blue topaz, and aquamarine. First, make sure the your stone is cleaned and energized. The you can place the stone on the throat chakra.
